We decided today would be our "lazy" day, and we didn't plan any tours, or even for getting off the ship! It worked out well because today was Sunday and most everything (except for the Port area) was closed anyway. We did get off and walk around for a bit about 10am, purchased some postcards and then headed back to the ship. You realize how large the ship was when you aren't on her, but on land.
The harbor isn't very large, and our cabin was on the opposite side of the dock, so we had a nice view with all the weather heading in today.
I headed up to the pool, where I spent most of the day until about 4pm. The weather went back and forth from hot to overcast to raining to overcast to sunny (this, all in about 10 minutes!) But I figured that I was wet already from the pool, so who cared about the warm rain?
This were taken pretty early in the day, you can see how uncrowded it is. About 330pm it started to fill up, so I went back to the room where Chris was watching football. Specifically, the Eagles/Lions game in the snow. There's nothing stranger than watching a terrible snowstorm while sitting in the Caribbean I think.
It's a little weird. We hadn't made any specific plans for dinner, so we ended up eating in the Oceanview Cafe (the buffet) for dinner, which was very good, and didn't take 2 hours like the dining room. There was a show tonight with one of the performers from the Eclipse show - Peng Fei, a Chinese magician. The show was actually quite good - he performed for about an hour and then a little time at the bar for some Sunday night football. (I know, it's a lot of football, but it's on so darn late here!!!) Off to bed, and tomorrow we'll have Antigua and the fast boat tour around the island. Should be fun!!!!
