Last night we had some delicious dinner, and then headed for the martini bar (yes Jeffrey, you are correct!)
Today, we sailed into Curaçao, and got off the ship to walk around today, with no specific plans. The walk is quite nice, as there is a floating bridge in between the 2 halves of the town of Willemstad. As we were walking over the bridge, they started opening the bridge, so we went for a little ride. That's our ship in the background.
The ferry boats you see in the below photo start running if the bridge is going to be open for any length of time.
We crossed over to the other side and spent a few hours walking around.
The bridge opened again as we were walking back, and this time they were running the ferries, so this one might be a while. We had made it to the other side, so we were ok.
There was a Starbucks in the Rif Fort, so we stopped and checked our emails and I finished this post before we went back to the ship!
Tomorrow is a day at sea on our way to Barbados! We have a bridge tour in the morning, and a cabin crawl in the afternoon, so that should be fun!
Looks fun and warm to me . . . It is a record low 22 here in PDX!!!
